General
Rules:
- We will be following the USATT Rules of Table Tennis.
- Matches will be best 3 out of 5 games using the 11 points per game format.
Rating Points:
- We are using the Spindex Ratings Calculator System.
- Rating points gained or lost will be per match.
- Points are gained or lost according to the rating difference between two players.
Grouping
- The groups will be composed of anywhere between 4 and 6 players.
- The amount of groups will be based on the number of players registered for the league.
- The players within each group will be determined based on their current Spindex rating.
Penalties
Once the groups are made, players must play all other players within their group.
After registering to play, if a player decides to quit before completing all of their matches, then that particular player will be subject to a 3 month ban from our league. If this happens a second time, then that player will be subject to a 6 month ban from our league. If this happens a third time, then that player will no longer be allowed to participate in the league.
League Director
- Has the responsibility to apply the rules as written above.
- Has the authority to default a player for offensive or unsportsmanlike behavior.
