WJTTC Returns to the George Braithwaite Major League Season 4 — Hosting the Season Opener!
This year, West Jersey Table Tennis Club (WJTTC) is proud to participate once again in the George Braithwaite Major League. Our club is represented by three teams, showcasing both the depth and diversity of our players:
- WJTTC DIE Team: Marius, Anastasia, Anthony, Murs, and Tommy
- WJTTC Spinners: Alla, Neil, Shu, Randy, and Lalit
- Phoenix: Sri, Raj, Rob, and Pavol
The Metro New York regional league will feature three events this season, and we were excited to kick things off right here at our home club. Yes — WJTTC proudly hosted the opening league event once again!
A total of 11 teams traveled to our club from New York City, Long Island, and North Jersey. Teams competed in a Giant Round Robin format, making for a full day of exciting and competitive matches. The atmosphere throughout the event was both friendly and highly competitive, reflecting the true spirit of the league.
The organizers provided pizza during the lunch break, giving players a chance to relax, socialize, and recharge before returning to the tables. It was a great opportunity to connect with players from other clubs and enjoy the community aspect of the league.
The next league event will take place on January 4th at the New Jersey Table Tennis Club in Springfield. At the end of the regional season, division winners will earn the opportunity to compete in the National Event during Memorial Day weekend, adding even more excitement and motivation to the competition.
